CONCO is particularly proud of having developed, over the years, a profound understanding of how to operate in Africa. We have enabled electricity supply in 14 African countries including Lesotho, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Angola, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, Ghana, Swaziland, Botswana and Mozambique.
In the African context, CONCO’s experience is evidence of the importance of being properly geared to operate in remote areas, where there are low levels of infrastructure or depleted infrastructure, logistical challenges and issues related to administration, tax, import/export and shipping.
