Green energy is a major global concern and a driver of governments today. With wind energy as the world’s fastest-growing energy resource, CONCO’s green legacy began with the building of the first grid-connected wind farms in the Southern Hemisphere: in Crookwell, Australia, and Darling, South Africa.

A key area of expertise

Since then, renewable energy has become one of our key areas of expertise, with green energy and the Kyoto Protocol at constant front of mind. Specific CONCO skills include the design and optimisation of MV reticulation networks, grid connected step-up / step-down substations and local grid tie-ins.
