Maguga Dam Substation (Swaziland) |

Appointed by SEC to construct the Substation for KOBWA project. the main purpose of this substation is to generate 66 kV (2 x 15 MVA) into the Swaziland grid. The project consisted of the Maguga Substation next to the turbine house and is connected via a 66 kV line to Nginamadolo substation which is the distribution point into the grid, both Maguga and Nginamadolo were part of this project. |

CAPRIVI LINK INTERCONNECTOR PROJECT NamPower is in the process to implement the Caprivi Link Interconnector. The first stage of the project comprises of a 970km ±350kV HVDC bipolar line with converter stations and associated AC substations extensions at Zambezi and Gerus Substations where CONCO is respnsible for supply and delivery of all Potection and Control Equipment. |

This project scope was split into (4x) 66 kV subs and (24x) 11 and 3.3 kV SG Boards . The total qty of panels were in excess of 200 installed into 11 substations . The panels were all manufactured and tested in Malaysia and shipped via sea to SA . Value R 58 Mill . |
